first of all, and most importantly, LIVERPOOL HAVE LANDED FERNANDO TORRES FOR 25 MILLION POUNDS! which is AWESOME. because we FINALLY have a classy striker since we sold fowler and owen.

im really glad i went to sunset way today because it was brilliant. from 5-1 down we took it to them after dipak scored the 1. i made it 5-2 sliding the ball home after a scramble, boon rolled it in for 5-3, dipak ran past two defenders to make it 5-4 and in the last minute of the game and slid in another rebound from uncles shot to make it 5-5 and tie the game! FROM 5-1 DOWN! hahaha i love sunset way.

my torrid fling with BMTC school 2 comes to an end tomorrow night, and it has proven to be naught but a social experiment. the factors? small group of intellectuals, medium sized group of degenerates and a large group of followers.

i have learnt that when the basic checks and balances of society are removed, it becomes ruled by naught but gangsterism and thuggery. this is my argument for the necessity of elitism; to keep the intellectuals in the driving seat, and keep the country prosperous in the long term. after tomorrow, i will no longer have to expose myself to the moro-intellectual degenerates found in camp, and for that, i am glad. brutality is no way to run society, and my only satisfaction in camp, especially when asked rhetorically from one of the fat geniuses there "big fuck ah?" is that hey! actually i am. considering the fact that he sells handphones and replaces "make haste" with "eh kin eh!" in a loudly nasal voice whilst i will be in university soon, of course you're a nobody. after all, in five years i can promise that should we have any reason for conversation, the only thing i will be hearing from them will run on the lines of "Would you like fries with that, sir?". by the way, fatboy slims name is JEREMY. he is large, nasal and has several chins. he also bears a rather familial resemblance to Jabba the Hutt. his favourite phrases include such gems as "erhehheheheheheh" and "eh kin eh!". he is often seen hanging about with fat friends as elias, or the wise rayner who looks like and owl and signs in for guard duty as the "gaurd". alas and alack for a system which failed to teach the youth of our society the correct spelling of guard!

when complete idiots wrangle for power, things get nowhere. so imma just sit back and wait for this to end on monday; and then back to the real world. there we'll see who the big man is then, who society values more; the obese (and horrendously ugly) handphone seller, or the intellectual. perhaps elitism does have it merits; after all it has kept our country progessive, prosperous and out of the hands of the gaurds.

well here goes. a bit more in the fight against the repression of religion.

i can do little other than express my tremendous disgust at the verdict of the lina joy case in malaysia. this joy woman apparently lost a case to remove the islam on her ic and replace it with her new religion, and will now possibly face a charge of apostasy under muslim religious law, i.e she faces jail time and a fine. the defence? "you have to respect the rules and conventions of the religion"- utter rubbish considering the fact that islam wasnt a selective choice on her part. being born into a religion is a most damnable thing, considering the fact that you have no choice in the matter. many people are breathing huge sighs of relief, saying that the will of the majority has been upheld; and this reveals a huge flaw in the workings of democracy. how dare they measure the choices and rights of another individual by their standards; how dare they punish and bind her to their beliefs because they feel that thats how it should be. perhaps theres more than just a little to be learnt from the old USSR, which removed religion from the societal mainframe. dont you dare tell me who i can or cannot worship- or force me to believe in any religion at all. as a staunch atheist i am very pro-choice; and so this malaysian refusal to allow this singular individual the basic right to freedom of worship strikes me as very wrong; completely abhorrent. i respect the right that people have in choosing their own beliefs, their own religion and seeing religion pressed upon a person who by all accounts has no faith in it is completely ridiculous. shes leaving the country soon, and all power to her for doing so because this just shows us how backward and repressive malaysia is as a country.

it was once said that when one person is self delusional, its called insanity, but when a large number of people are self delusional it is generally referred to as religion and i subscribe to that school. personally i believe the various religions are just a collective bunch of fairy tales used to bind people together, control and use them. mormons take 10% of your monthly income and this other stupid christian organisation takes 20%. yes, god wants your money to spend on his cadillac and women. but thats just what i think. if you believe otherwise, then by all means do so! i couldnt care less. but i feel outraged when it is pressed upon a person because i tend to wonder what i'd do were i in that persons position. id probably leave the country and decry their backward institutions and values. ridiculous.

then again, when you're surrounded by intellectual degenerates you tend to withdraw into your own world and glean what comfort you can from within the confines of your mind. heres looking at you, NS.
