you know the promos are coming when your strange jurassic park style nightmares dont even compare to that other one you had last night of your history lecture. or when your in skool from 10 to 8 pretty much everyday or your bag is actually full of notes and nothing else or oh what the heck i wont bore you with the mundane rigours of the life of a singaporean student; especially the murderous exams that come towards the end of the year which are inexplicably called end of years. unless of course you want to add that nice little jingly nickname they give the annual promotional examinations in a (unsuccessful) bid to make it seem that much cuter and cuddly.
i mean what the hell do i care as to whether the sultans/priyayis/whatever elites had such giant headaches that they decided to give their colonial masters blowjobs- and serve the coffee after that? i dont, but does it matter? of course not! :) :) *beams* or as some retarded counterparts of mine put it (and i do mean RETARDED- socially and mentally) *bEAmZ/gRiNz/iM sUcH a fUckIng mOrOn i cAnt wRiTe pROpeRlY*
who wants a slap?
all my friends are dead
look for the album, by freddy gage. isnt the title just ah-doooor-ah-bel??? geeze louise there was so much affection dripping from that it would give marilyn manson a cardiac.
somebody needs to tell good old george bush that katrina isnt his new private secretary and that hurrimacanes- or fast wind as he so nicely puts it- have nothing to do with his gastric ailments. or that his mom has no business poking her soon to be cryogenically preserved nose into affairs of the state.
the death of one is a tragedy
bush likes to talk a lot huh. the man needs a typical indian grandmother with a weapon better than any lame old 'iron fist'. i mean come on! thats so cliched! try the made in india cowskin shoes- first rate, owned by grandmothers everywhere for beating their children who scold their grandchildren. whatever. or them chinese people, who americans think 'karaty' their kids when theyre bad, or malays who practise the same grandmother maternal protectorate doctorate mandate thing. like european people all over the world have no idea exactly how up to date we are; something pathetically sad considering how much more advanced we in singapore are than so many of them. running the risk of sounding nationalistic, i think we got it going the right way (dont get me wrong im still gonna try busting my way into the film industry overseas).
so the priyayis soiled their little diapers complaining how they dint get nuff respect, and so the brits werent that interested in malayan ketupat making classes. i think the whole concept of colonialism was a stupid excuse aimed at the so called advancement of asian countries- all after wiping out our heritage and culture. how many kids nowadays would prefer a madonards chisbeger happy mil (you get what i mean) to a good old plate of char kway teow? dont be shy now, or a stupid suck up like that fat boy in my primary two class (2C henry park pri sch) who proudly proclaimed that he hated sweets during his health education lesson, only to be caught two periods later sucking on a ring pop. his name was prashanth i think; and guess what? he remains fat to this day, affectionately known as 'penguin' in more notable social circles. i dont really care.
the general paper is tomorrow. three hours that coulda been better spent sleeping. anyhows it means that the promos (see? so jingly) start tomorrow.
well, here we go
i guess i'll see you on the other side

i just discovered that if i get a 700 for the SATS verbal i qualify for a place in NUS law. thing is, i intend to go overseas (university of anfield maybe? just for liverpool) or to america or whereever to do it. whatever.
whats important today is the clash between the European giant Liverpool, and that team flirting with relegation, Manchester United. Of course we're gonna win, the Kops gonna send us through with cheers loud and true.
whatever. ill write properly later. i dont know how or why anymore.

oh the winter i adore
looks like its gonna be another long night; then again its one of those nights i just adore.
9.55-11.55: LIVERPOOL Vs Tottenham Hotspurs
11.55-1.55: Butlers M4M Essay. 1200 words.
1.55-03.55: REAL MADRID Vs Celta Vigo
so yeah. anyways we had quite a good game of soccer today though im completely exhausted and my ankles are in such poor state that they refuse to support me half the time. the good news is that i dint snap either one of them the past few weeks. hallelujah. anyways the score today ended up 6-6 which was quite disappointing considering how we were leading 6-2 at half time. i imposed the mantra
keep the lead, dont concede
on the boys, but it dint work seeing as how we lost our goalkeeper.
6 - 6
akesh x 5 ray
darren colin x 3
james c x 2
anyways it wasnt so bad since I scored 5 for us so what the heck. things have really changed, from when i used to be the most defensive minded player in the team, leading to praise as the most complete defender in the park, slowly moving up to defensive midfielder, and now i play in the midfield. maybe its still DMC seeing as to how im the guy running back to defend off counter attacks half the time.
so anyhow, i was thinking of material again for future stuff, and had a few ideas.
you know your chinese when that thing on your plate just winked at you.
you know your indian when you start paying money to feed cows at carnivals.
you know your indian when your grandmother uses the shoe on you more than your foot.
you know your malay when you realise that that thing youve been trying to read is a banana.
you know your malay when you think contraception is just a new video game.
you know your american when you get jacked by your president again.
you know your phillipino when you have the overwhelming urge to add a maam or sir at the back of everything.
you know your phillipino when you want to fack your pag.
you know your a phillipino american when your mom cant stop calling your ang moh dad 'sir'. even after her contract expired.
you know your mexican when you start calling crap guano, homes!
you know your german when you speak german to dogs- and they growl back.
you know your a redneck when you wake up in church and realise you just done spilt beer all down your bible.
you know your a redneck when your at your grandmothers burial service- and the old bat is still banging about the coffin.
you know your george bush when you still suck your thumb and rush to mommy and daddy when you need help. and that nice clinton man.
you know your george bush when you try to sustain, maintain and retain the escalamation of terrorrorrorrism and gosh darn it i forgot my lines.
you know your george bush when your more worried about bessie the cows mystery illness than national events.
you know your george bush when you still think katrina is that new secretary in the office.
you know your micheal jackson when your so enchanted by your own innocence, you molest yourself.
you know your george bush when REFER TO REDNECK
you know your an F math student when you start referring to school as 'home, truly'.
you know your dick cheney when you take out the old slipper to beat around the bush.
anyhows this is all just for fun. we're all beautiful people in the end, arent we all?

and so here we are, back at the qualifiers. heres who i think will do what and go where. players next to countries are those guys you wanna look out for.
EUROPE
group 1
The perennial underachievers Netherlands (RUUD VAN NISTELROOY) and this stronger Czech Republic (MILAN BAROS) side look to be going through although Romania looks like it might cause a few upsets. gosh how i miss hagi.
group 2
Ukraine (ANDRIY SCHEVCHENKO) are through and Turkey are second, but i wouldnt put it past Greece (STELIOS GIANNAKOPOULOS) to qualify ahead of them, seeing as to how they have a game in hand.
group 3
Portugal (LUIS FIGO), back with FIGO! are sure to qualify, and though Slovakia lead on goal difference, i think Russia (ALEXEI SMERTIN) will still make it through ahead of them.
group 4
France (ZINEDINE ZIDANE) has 16 points and has only conceded once, and share a lead with Switzerland. Ireland (ROY KEANE) have a game in hand, like France, so I think theyll sneak past Israel for the second position. Switzerland look strong but..naw.
group 5
This is tough. The Azzuri, Italy (ALBERTO GILARDINHO) will qualify, although its a tough one between Norway and Slovakia, as Scotland sneak back in. Im going with Norway (THAT NORWEGIAN GUY).
group 6
Simply because they have so many points, Poland (JERZY DUDEK hehe) and England (STEVEN GERARD) although England lost to NORTHERN IRELAND HAHAHAHHAHA.
group 7
So Sad for Spain (RAUL GONZALEZ). they should qualify, though the serbs from Serbia and Montenegro (MATEJA KEZMAN) are doing a good job. Watch out for Belgium. haha sonk.
group 8
Iceland have been disappointing, so Id think that Sweden (HENRIK LARSSON) and Croatia (DADO PRSO) should qualify, though they put up a poor performance againt measly Malta.
SOUTH AMERICA
Very simple. Brazil (DIDA,MARCOS,ROBERTO CARLOS,LEO,MAICON,LUCIO,JUAN,ROQUE JUNIOR,CAFU,CICINHO,ZE ROBERTO,EMERSON,GILBERTO,JUNINHO PERNAMBUCANO,JULIO BAPTISTA,RONALDINHO,KAKA,ROBINHO,RONALDO,ADRIANO,RICARDINHO) are gonna qualify and then next year add a sixth star to their jersey, Argentina (PABLO AIMAR), Ecuador (DELGADO) and Paraguay (wish i could say JOSE LUIS CHILAVERT, but no, so ROQUE SANTA CRUZ will do.)
CONCACAF
The USA (DAMARCUS BEASLEY-remember cobi jones?), Mexico (BLANCO!!!) and Costa Rica should be through.
AFRICA
This is where it gets interesting. One team per group, so yeah.
Group 1: Togo are leading, but I think Senegal (PAPA BOUBA DIOUF) should pull through.
Group 2: Its gonna be tough, but Ghana (MICHEAL ESSIEN) should pull through.
Group 3: Itll be close between the Ivory Coast (DIDIER DROGBA) and Cameroon (WEBO), but i hope the something (brave? golden?) lions make it.
Group 4: Angola lead, but trust Nigeria (OBAFEMI MARTINS) to make it.
Group 5: The crunch match between Tunisia and Morocco (Noureddine Naybet) should decide this one, and im going with Morocco.
ASIA AND OCEANIA
Japan (HIDETOSHI NAKATA) became the first team to qualify for the finals. They were quickly followed by Iran, Saudi Arabia and South Korea (PARK JI SUNG)- meaning automatic qualifying was done and dusted with a round to spare. Uzbeikstan won a thrilling decider against Kuwait to book a play-off with Bahrain. The winner of that game will play the fourth place team from the Concacaf region - which looks like being either Costa Rica or Guatemala - for a place in the finals. Australia (HARRY KEWELL) cruised through to the final play-off.
well thats it then. other than that we had a thrilling game at the park today, with scores level at 0-0 for most of the match until i popped up in a corner to score the winning goal as we went off winning 1-0.

break
The end is near, the summer days
All the great things go away
Feel the cold comin' 'round the bend
Everything's gonna change again
Oh, the winter i adore
Summer's gone forever more
Some days you come back to me
Seasons change to set me free
Don't have to bore you with details
And every morning, the sun rise
Oh I could hold you tomorrow
When she's golden, the ocean
The end is near, my winter fling
Change is melting everything
Now it's time, to sink below
Season come, season go
down another day
today i broke up with priyanka

and believe in what you read
you - free yourself - finally free
believe in what you are
believe all the crap
believe what you're attached to
believe everything you think
you - free yourself - finally free
trust in your feelings
you're in the here and now
believe and be totally silent
until silence rips you apart

why am i such a horribly inane person. like what the fuck?
its raining outside- i cant believe its raining. why gods why do you have to procure rain on sundays (and on occasion, saturdays). nothing strikes more fear in the heart (actually plenty of other things do, but for dramatic effect) than the sight of those orgulous gray clouds floating overhead to release their loads of water vapourised water down onto the earth in a pathetic attempt to ameliorate the grass below by giving it that shiny dew look. hello? cant you do that on a weekday?
I DONT WANT TO MISS SOCCER TODAY
especially since we won 6-2 yesterday! im on such form aww cmon please i want to play ah whatever forget it nevermind ranting on this blog is not going to make the rain go away or maybe it will and for the passing chance that it might- PLEASE
teachers day was some days ago. there was a concert and everybody was quite happy. i think. all the same, it was good. *smiles in a benign and benevolent manner* how did i do that? i think that was more of a pandering to whim manner. forget it. i dont know what im saying. i need some fresh air,
and a deer dance,
if you were to ever so kindly oblige.
P.S. im really pleased with my brand new adidas shoes- theyre some Chile 62' model from the limited shop haha i like- very much. and that snazzy belt. and the other one with the steel cross buckle. wait and see hahahee.
- 3:31 am
and with resolute finality
the decision to make as the rain comes cascading down, a single drop hitting its predestined mark unerringly
i would carry on to do all as i do as would be wont to do; for i live my life alone and by mine own standard that will do; that is without another but the first which never was.
shattered all too quickly; for wondering what might in revelation that it was trailed by several impossibilities i am still all too quick to dismiss for my sheer force of will; and i would have it such that my will be done-
yet it is impossible at this current conjecture
so i wait
pray endure me another chance; i will not let it go wrong the next time
this is the new shit
stand up and break

and so it is.
enjoy the silence
days grow longer and longer, time dragging and shuffling its feet like the proverbial Boy Who Got A Well Deserved Thrashing For Not Walking Properly. for isnt it all illegal down here anyway?
you'll never know how
sweeter than thou
time and time again they flash back, those scenes, of a movie in the dark, of plans cancelled, a day to remember- of how it happened so suddenly and back again
id do it again
if i had the chance
go through it again
though i know in advance
that all i get from you
is heartaches-
while someone else
is getting all your love
yeah. i remember everything. everything and i wont ever forget how it was, the scent, and every bit. it feels like yesterday; and it feels like nothing as good will ever happen again- because nothing will.
im sittin her lonely like a broken man
serve my time doin the best i can
walls and bars they surround me
but i dont want no sympathy
how long has it been since someone gave to you-
and then forget; ive lost my poetic licence.
i guess ill have to reapply.
