dinner with sarah nadya at delifrance after dropping by the RProject thing. was plenty fun- we talked and talked and talked; darling ol snads. did my pinprick test thing today; im officially one of those potential donors. good stuff i guess. its production runs day tomorrow, and then some.
here comes the sun
i dont like things the way they are. everybody is growing up too fast; or at least they try to. try to do things they dont really have to, working too hard to pretend to be someone theyre not. and i guess im uncomfortable with that. you lose your spirit and deaden yourself to the world outside, too engrossed in the what is of the matter rather than the who. it doesnt- no, it shouldnt work that way. learning to laugh again is never easy.

i suppose thats why i love the stage so much. when i get the chance to make something so real you can touch it, just as it touches you. to hear you laugh, and be happy for the fact that for that while, you forget everything outside and revel in the illusion of my creation; that you laugh, that you love and remember who you are. forget the politics, forget the problems, forget the world and live a little. dont ever forget who you are, because at the end of everything, its the only thing you really got.

live fast because while you only live once, you get to die twice. you die when you decide you've lived enough, and you die when you forget how to love. and for two years i thought i did. i lost it all in an instant of brilliance shortly after i wrote break; live forever, love fornever. the darkness always did say that love was only a feeling; but i guess they were wrong- because you've become my perfection incarnate, my drive in saturday.
