Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour Then leaf subsides to leaf So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay -robert frost-

the whole week has been a whirl; stark in contrast to the painful slowness of the previous week. everyday dragged on by and then disappeared; just like that. the seconds were slow, the hours pulling vanishing tricks outta their ears like nobodys business. but at long last its friday! sweet glorious friday.
ramya returned from rome yesterday
RP elections were the other day. i voted waikit thrice under make up and costumes; and then hadri announced it to the world; but what really stunned me was me- and my lack of interest. it was like i dint care as to what happened to anything. i dont really care about what happens or who comes into exco, all this voting only throws into greater light RP politics, something utterly stupid and juvenile. politicking might be an overstatement of what goes on; i think itd be better represented as a series of backstabbings and badmouthings. fuck. im pretty much fine just acting; although im not fine with letting anybody else take that from me.
campaigning around skool is in full swing; and i find that pretty irritating. posters with dumb cliched lines you know nobody means all over the place, and stupid overused plays on names. all this for the sake of creating a future brand of 'leaders' (yeah right. do all the shit for the school and get a few lines of praise for it; more like slaves. see it anyway you want; contest it and ill call you a self righteous bastard/bitch.) but hey! im not stopping you. do whatever you want. campaigning speeches were on thursday and suddenly it was just like old times when wai kit stepped out onto stage and was met with a chorus of boos and jeers. how everybody loves that little (lady)boy. and those PRC scholars who claimed to be rubbish and had people throw things at them. and of course those lines repeated again and again- i want to bridge the gap between the student population and the administrative body- well i think four people should be able to cover that thank you very much. counselors- just another way of exacerbating the elitist trend in little old singapore.
today ended brilliantly with PE; we played floorball. we were initially up 4-1; eddie scored a blistering shot from outta nowhere and james nicked two fantastic shots in and i got one in too. all of a sudden the opposing team wakes up to elbow and butt their way up to a 4-5 lead although we couldnt score much since edmond kept using his hands to grab the ball and was sitting down in front of the goal. diarrheaus (darius/radius) got man of the match cos bhavan kept screaming his name so much. so last few minutes and james is stuck in some god forsaken corner; all of a sudden he flicks it to the centre of the box and i flick it in with my stick straight through edmonds legs to tie it up at 5-5; how brill is that?
im so tired. i dont know why- or maybe i do and just dont want to acknowledge it. im just tired of seeing things work the way they work, and tired of the way things are. fuck that. im going to sleep.
