my stance is that abortion should be illegal - so listen up shumin, even though this probably isnt gonna change your shumin-like mind, and your shuminny ways of thinking.
first and foremostly - might i remind us all that considering the fact that the heart of the fetus starts beating between 12 to 18 days hence classifying it as a living being. therefore, the removal of the fetus from its platform of essential lifesupport through a premeditated decision is tantamount murder. i dont believe in abortion under any circumstances.
lets set the yardstick for abortion through definition whereby an abortion is defined as the act of removing a developing unborn fetus in any stage of development after the 12th day of fertilisation, or the day the heart commences in function through a decision made in a premeditated manner to be considered as abortion. this is in essence a pro-life decision - and when counterbalanced to the pro choice party, which outweighs the other? life or choice? abortion is in fact, not a rights issue, but quickly escalating into a moral, ethical issue on the world stage.
taking into account the fact that nowadays, with the advent of technology and longer working hours (along with the fact that more men are into riding motorcycles), more parents are infertile and desperately seeking children - this disposal of a child through abortion is a terrible shame. also with the decrease in rates of teenage pregnancy over the past ten years, abortion is a choice that is being turned to less often - and its viability will soon be disproved in first world countries, now that more suitable and better developed adoption agencies are available than the numbers available previously - which explains george w bush's anti abortion policy.
"Ten to 15 years ago, said Frances Kissling, president of Catholics for a Free Choice, an abortion-rights group, adoption was generally portrayed as an effort to find parents for needy children. Now, she said, that has changed — infertile couples are desperately seeking children."
in third world countries - the greater problem is posed. with the legalisation of abortion in these countries - abortion centres are sprouting like mold on soggy bread (in humid conditions) to cater to the growing fetus industry, for use in stem cell research, or for display in your local biology labs. most of these places are sheds, or unauthorised clinics, where desperately poor children go to sell the babies in their wombs. the medical procedures involved are highly dangerous, and unhygienic, and a majority of the 'doctors' and 'nurses' involved in the procedures are untrained. the living baby in the womb of a mother is dispensed of, a life snuffed out for financial gain. and you might argue - so the government must have strict measures - but do they? and do you seriously think they ever will right now? especially in countries like india and china, where most of the officials are corrupt? with a bit of baksheesh, new laws are passed all the time.
so a mother might not have enough money to raise children - which forces me to bring up the adoption centre issue, as this measure has been very successful in allowing people, living unique individuals, with their own characters and personalities to have a shot at life, instead of just being killed through abortion, which involves the removal of the arms and legs of the fetus, and its being broken to pieces, and then being sucked out. how bloody disgusting, and sad.
so anti abortion supports child slavery when parents sell their children? fine then, lets all not have kids, so they cant be kidnapped or sold into child slavery.
please. give these kids a chance. they have the right to live too.
support the abolition of abortion
(they sound the same, its a sign!)
anyway heres a translated song. its called 'mother'.
The tears of a crowd of very old children
I string them on a white hair
I throw the wet chain into the air
and wish that I had a mother
No sun shines for me
there was no breast that cried milk
there is a tube that sticks in my throat
I have no navel on my stomach
Mother
I was not allowed to lick any nipples
and there was no fold to hide in
no one gave me a name
fathered in haste and without sperm
For the mother who never gave birth to me
I have sworn tonight
I will send her a sickness
and afterwards make her sink in the river
Mother
An eel lives in her lungs
on my forehead, a birthmark
remove it with the kiss of a knife
even if it causes me to die
Mother
An eel lives in her lungs
on my forehead, a birthmark
remove it with the kiss of a knife
even if it causes me to bleed to death
Mother
Oh give me strength
